Professor Brian Fagan on a whirlwind week in Canberra

Distinguished Emeritus Professor Brian Fagan (who has told me in no uncertain terms to just call him “Brian”) is in Canberra participating in a range of Seminars with the CBAP Project Team. Today he spoke with PhD students about writing up research and making the thesis into book(s) and other publications. Tomorrow Brian shall be giving a public lecture called “The backward looking curiosity: the history of archaeology and us” at the Manning Clark Centre (details for the public lecture can be found here). On Thursday the CBAP Project has our annual Review Seminars, where Team Members and Project Associates present on the current status of their research in this full-day seminar. Finally, on Friday, Brian shall be giving a lecture for the CAR lecture series (more information here) before flying back home on Saturday.
